Fife u3a Membership Goes Digital - With Options for Everyone!
For the 2025–2026 membership year, existing members can renew online, while prospective members wishing to join Fife u3a will be able to submit their details digitally. This is a step towards a more streamlined and environmentally friendly process.
Fife u3a has also introduced a new option: Joint Membership for two people living at the same address. The online form supports both individual and joint applications. For joint membership, only one copy of u3a Matters will be sent per household.
GIFT AID - Boost your subscription by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you give us!
- Gift Aid is reclaimed from the tax you pay for the current tax year.
- You MUST be a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
- If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
- ** IMPORTANT RE PAYMENT OF JOINT FEES**
- You can pay half the membership subscription each from individual accounts or all the membership fee from a joint account.
- ** If the full joint subscription is paid from one INDIVIDUAL account then we can only claim half of it**

Upon receipt of your Payment a confirmation of membership will be emailed to you by the Membership Secretary.
Online banking is Fife u3a's preferred option — it’s secure and convenient. Bank Details are on all the forms - Please remember to put your name as the Reference. If you are seeking a Joint Membership, and either or both members wish to Gift Aid their subscription, please read the Important Message under Gift Aid above.
Paying in Person? On designated dates, the card reader will be available for face-to-face payments. Paper forms will also be on hand for anyone who prefers the traditional route.
Cheque - If you’d rather, you’re very welcome to send a cheque to the Membership Secretary - details are on all the forms.
