The group is led by Chris O’Neill, who previously ran this group in another u3a and brings both experience and enthusiasm. Whether you're a seasoned player or a complete beginner, you'll be warmly welcomed — plenty of help and support will be available. If you have a Backgammon board, please bring it along. She will be bringing two boards.
Backgammon is a classic board game of strategy, skill, and chance, played between two opponents using dice and counters. With roots tracing back thousands of years, it remains popular today for its engaging mix of tactical decision-making and fast-paced play.
Cribbage is an enjoyable card game that involves quick thinking and a bit of luck. It’s usually played by two people using a standard deck of cards and a scoring board with pegs.
Our group welcomes players of all levels. Whether you’re new to the game or returning after a break, you’ll find a friendly and supportive environment in which to play, learn, and enjoy.
